Delete your account

1. How to delete it

In the iPhone or Android app: open Settings, choose Delete account, and type your email address to confirm.

On the web: sign in at the Memento web app, open Settings → Account → Delete account, and type your email address to confirm.

If you can no longer sign in: write to privacy@mementokeep.com from the address on the account and ask us to delete it. We confirm it is your account, delete it the same way, and reply within one month — usually much sooner.

Before you delete: take an export on the web if you want a copy — it gives you every page as plain Markdown with your original files, and nothing can be recovered afterwards. And if you pay for Memento, cancel the subscription in Settings → Plan & usage first, so no further payment is taken.

2. What is deleted

Everything below is erased from our live systems the moment you confirm:

• your account: email address, name and password, and every signed-in session — you are signed out everywhere;
• every space, with every page, note and captured file in it, including the original files and pasted images;
• your chats with the assistant, your routines, reminders and notifications;
• the history of what the agent did for you;
• the AI provider credentials you connected;
• the phones registered for notifications;
• your beta sign-up record.

3. What is kept, and for how long

• Billing records — invoices and payment events are kept for as long as accounting and tax law requires, which in Denmark is five years from the end of the financial year. The link to your account is removed.
• The network security log — a record of which websites the agent was allowed to reach. It is kept so the log stays complete, with your account and email address removed from it.
• Bug reports you sent us — kept so the bug stays fixable, with your email address removed.
• Backups — our nightly backups keep seven days of history. Your data leaves them as those archives age out, so within seven days of deletion it is gone from backups too.
